PEACE Foundation: The PEACE Foundation is creating a grassroots movement capable of harnessing the power of individuals, corporations, congregations, and organizations - across race, class and geography - toward the common goal of significantly reducing violence in isolated, local communities where pronounced disparities exist, starting in North Minneapolis.
Northway Community Trust: NorthWay Community Trust is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization working to expand economic opportunity, strengthen the social fabric and improve life circumstances for North Minneapolis residents.
West Broadway Coalition: The West Broadway Coalition (WBC) exists “to add vitality to the West Broadway community through the promotion of citizenship and by fostering a prosperous business climate.”
Minneapolis Urban League: Our mission is to provide human services and advocacy that will enable African Americans and other minority group members residing in the greater Minneapolis Metropolitan Area to cultivate and develop their individual and group potential on a par with all other Minnesotans.
NorthPoint Health & Wellness Inc.: NorthPoint Health & Wellness Inc. is a multi-specialty medical, dental and mental health center and human service agency located in North Minneapolis.
Turning Point: Turning Point provides services to the community to assist people in achieving wellness and to live a self supportive lifestyle. We do this by providing social services, public health programs and culturally-specific solutions to meet people’s needs.
Emerge Community Development: A new housing, employment and community development organization, built on years of experience and stability within Pillsbury United Communities.
KMOJ: The current organizational vision of KMOJ is to develop the African American community through informing and educating people via vehicles of mass communication, including computer Internet, television, radio, and print journalism.
